The traditional fisherman cottages in Reine are used today as guest houses.

Between February and June cod (Gadus morhua) is hanged to dry.

Stockfish is naturally salted from the sea.

The dried heads of the cod are primarily sold to Nigeria for traditional cooking.

Common Butterwort (Pinguicula vulgaris) is an insectivorous plant and might be successful in catching this ant.
